    My Review

The person that is knocking(58a) it is an idiot.. Probably mad because she couldnt get a latte after and she only orders sweet and sour pork or broccoli beef... Notice how she "hopes" that those were pieces of beef in her fried rice. …

have been going here for 20 years

I don't know where these people come off knocking the U-Lee. Is it perfect? No. Is it a great, family operated, modest, affordable Chinese restaurant with a loyal clientele who return week after week, year after year? Yes. Love this place.

    Sweet deal

I have no idea what the negative reviewer is talking about because this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I live two blocks away so I eat here more than at my own place. The potstickers are huge, tasty and…

    Worst Chinese

We recently moved here from NYC to the Russian Hill community. We were excited to order from U-Lee after walking by and reading citysearch reviews. HOWEVER, this place is AWEFUL - potstickers were CLUMPED together and came with no sauce -…

    Potstickers

Three words: potstickers! Okay that was only one word, but that is the only word you need. Try U-lee. Please don't listen to the 1 bad review. Potstickers are HUGE and GOOD. The rest of the food is above average, but honestly you aren't…

    Hits the spot.

The food and service are great, so I call them often for take-out.\r \r You can find their menu online at tinyurlDOTcom/fxrzh (Annoyingly, URLs are marked 'inappropriate'...)\r \r Everything is fresh and good, but not fancy.

    Underwhelmed

Were they having an off night when I went? The food was mediocre across the board: potstickers, soup, and entree. We got the potstickers because everyone raved about them. They were huge, yes, but not great. Hot and sour soup varies…

    Chinese Comfort Food

U-Lee resembles a traditional Chinese home cooking. Sure, the ambience isn't what you call "romantic" but it feels just like grandma's house. The food is very yummy and down-to earth. The portion is huge. The price is very reasonable. The…

    The best there is

I used to live nearby U-Lee's, and before long this restaurant became more like my refrigerator than my favorite restaurant. The staff is very friendly, even when harried, and the food is fantastic. The pot stickers and chicken wonton…

    Best Chinese Confort Food!!

I visit SF once a year from LA. After reading the rav reviews about this place, my girl and I decided to give it a try. U-Lee, without a doubt, offers one of the best Chinese foods I've ever tasted in my life. We had the potstickers (MUST…

    Dumplings to Die For

Ok, they were Pot Stickers, but dumplings made a better title. This place is great! Not much to look at from the front or inside, but the food is king! The Potstickers are HUGE! The Kung Pao Shrimp actually has shrimp in it. …

    Great Chinese family-style place

U-Lee does not offer great ambience and decor but good food. Tables are scarce so you will expect to wait for at least 10-15 minutes on a weekend. The house specialty is no doubt the big, fat and juicy pot-stickers, a Northern Chinese…

    Great potstickers!

A hole in the wall but the food is always delicious! If you like soup noodles - they have the best Shanghai soup noodle in the Bay Area. The potstickers are one of the best - huge and juicy. Chow mein in black bean sauce is very good…

    Yummy

This has great tasting food for very cheap. The portions are huge as are the potstickers. Service is very friendly. Restaurant does not look the best but who cares when you have food like this.
